Our Keynote Speaker in 2023
REV. DR. SANGBOK DAVID KIM
Rev. Dr. Kim is a Christian leader who is well recognized internationally. People call him “Little Jesus,”
because he is so very well loved and respected in the fields of theological education and pastoral
ministries. He is currently chancellor of Torch Trinity Graduate University in Seoul, Korea and pastor
emeritus of Hallelujah Community Church, one of the mega-churches in Korea. He has served as
chairman of World Evangelical Alliance, Asian Theological Alliance internationally, and Restoration of
North Korean Churches, Korean World Mission Association, and he has been engaged in broadcasting
ministries.
He earned in addition to a BA from Seoul National University, his Master of Divinity and Master of
Sacred Theology from Faith Theological Seminary, Doctor of Theology from Grace Seminary, an honorary
Doctor of Divinity from Washington Bible College, and Doctor of Litterature(Honoris Causa) from Trinity
Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Illinois.
He is the publisher of the bi-lingual edition of Our Daily Bread in English and Korean. His books include
Leadership of Christian Ministers; Lost Crown; Theology of Suffering; Serving Others, You Are the Best;
and numerous other published books, and articles for journals, newspapers, magazines.
Rev. Dr. Kim and his beloved wife, YoungJa Kim, have three married daughters. Their eldest daughter,
Grace serves as a missionary in Saudi Arabia, the youngest, Christine serves as Priest-in charge, St.
Peters Episcopal Church, Chelsea, New York and the second, Eunice, a teacher, lives in Maryland. We
are thrilled and honored to welcome him as our keynote speaker for our 2022 event.
