Our Keynote Speaker in 2026

Daeyoung Kim
Daeyoung Kim serves as the second Senior Pastor of Washington Fellowship Church, where he pursues the vision of a missional church that manifests Christ’s love to the world. Previously, he served for eight years as the Senior Pastor of Seoul Woolim Church in Songpa, Seoul, and spent eight years conducting extensive missionary work in China.
He earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Studies from Yonsei University and a master's degree in Public Administration (with a focus on Foreign Affairs and National Security) from the same institution. Following a profound life-threatening experience, he embraced Jesus Christ as his Savior and dedicated his life to the gospel. He subsequently completed a Master of Divinity at Chongshin Theological Seminary and pursued a Doctor of Ministry in Missional Leadership at Fuller Theological Seminary.
During his mission in China, he traveled extensively across the country providing biblical training to underground house church leaders. In the later years of his mission, he focused on discipleship through communal living with Chinese brothers, fostering them into spiritual leaders. Upon returning to South Korea, he led a missional ministry at Seoul Woolim Church before receiving another calling to immigrant ministry in 2014, leading him to his current pastoral tenure in the Washington D.C. area.
He and his wife, Seung Yeon Ha, a music major, have two sons, Myung Heon and Ji Heon, who specialize in Information Studies and Computer Science.
